Medway Magna Ltd is a company whose registered office is at Kingsley Smith Solicitors’ address in Chatham at 81 High Street, Chatham ME4 4EE.

Medway Magna is a "consortium" of local landowners but the main party is a local family that owns extensive areas not just in the Capstone Valley but also on the North Downs on Maidstone side of the M2 and east of Faversham.
 
Very little detail is available on their proposals, but it is understood the plans consist of 9,250 houses, new employment areas, a new road linking Hempstead and Lordswood and a number of “green lungs” in place of the existing Valley. 

Capstone Valley has been identified as an area of Local Landscape Importance a designated country park, with two sites of nature conservation interest (SNCI) in the area and an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) in close vicintity.
