New Brompton College students quiz Clark

Students at New Brompton College were given the opportunity to quiz Gillingham and Rainhham MP, Paul Clark, on his role as an MP and the electoral system yesterday.

Jay Burton, a year 10 student following the ASDAN programme, invited MP Paul Clark into school to speak to the group.

The group is working towards the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) award and one of the assignments is to investigate the work of an MP.

Paul Clark responded to the invite and arrived at school on Monday 5th February 2007 to take part in a question and answer session with the students.

Paul also told the group about his role as a MP and explained the importance of the voting system.

Year 12, who are also following the CoPE course, joined the group for the session.
