25th February 2008: Call for Veterans Badge Applications

Paul Calls for veterans to sign up to receive the Veterans Badge

22nd February

Paul today issued a call for those who served in the Armed Forces at any time prior to 31st December 1994 to sign up to receive the Armed Forces Veterans Badge or the UK Merchant Seafarers Veterans Badge.

The badge recognises the sacrifices that all veterans have made and offers recognition of their time in service.

Veterans Day takes place on 27th June this year and Paul plans to help organise a civic event in the constituency to mark the occasion.
