According to new figures from the government, the South East is healthier, happier, and 'greener' than ever.
According to DEFRA, people living in the South East are more satisfied with their lives than the national average. Employment levels in the region
are higher than many other regions, and the region has the highest proportion of 16 - 19 year olds in employment. Life expectancy is amongst the highest and the rate of infant mortality amongst the
lowest of the English regions.
