   Paul visits new Police Station

Paul Clark MP today visited the new Medway Police Station at Chatham Maritime, and was given a guided tour by area commander Chief Superintendent Jan Stephens.

The multi million pound station boasts the largest cell block in Kent and a host of state-of-the-art facilities.

The building offers a special unit for vulnerable victims, and the only suite in the county where witnesses can spot criminals using a photo data bank.

The move means police will be making the best use of resources, whilst continuing to offer the public an accessible and effective service.

Paul Clark said: "Medway's new station is a fantastic facility that should allow for the best use of resources across Medway and ensure that the public receive the quality service they expect from our local force."
