    We are multi cultural now, and that isnt a bad thing, it helps us to to understand other cultures and be part of them if we wish to, but we should not forget our own British traditions.     I am fully supportive of a national holiday for St George's Day. I think that it is a matter of national identity - yes we are British and yes we are also a multicultural society, but the majority of people in England are at the very least British, if not English.     Bank holiday next year please! I think some people would say it is strange to celebrate it though when a lot of people here aren't english and wouldn't want to do it. can't force them to take part but we should be positive about the country and they should want to take part of their own... | Read more...
